FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER
We’re looking for a junior graphic designer for a seasonal contract position that is passionate about minimalist design, color theory and typography, but also understands the latest design trends whether for web, print, environmental, social media, etc. Candidates should be able to work well both directly with the founder as well as autonomously. We’re looking for a great designer to help push the brand forward and innovate, while also working within the current brand system.
You’ll work directly with the Founder and Creative Director on a diverse range of projects such as web design, printed event collateral, advertising/marketing, photo selection and editing, environmental design, and more. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience at a company with multiple businesses that works with large sponsors and partners like Squarespace, Quaker, Toyota and many others.
Contract position for 8 weeks (4 days per week, Monday-Thursday, October through the second week of December). With potential for full-time in Q1/Q2 of 2018.
Work must be done in-house / onsite.
Must be fluent in design programs including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.

MARKETING + PR INTERN
The Marketing + PR Intern will assist with the research, outreach and implementation of various marketing and public relations initiatives for Unique Markets and The Unique Space. Reporting directly to the COO, the marketing intern will work on important projects and gain hands-on experience executing campaigns and implementing marketing strategies via social media, email, in-person events and print marketing. This is an amazing opportunity for interns to not only build their portfolios and resumes, but work closely with senior staff and the founder gaining invaluable feedback and skills. Our interns have gone on to work at Chanel, Disney and GirlGaze and we introduce them to our network for future jobs and freelance opportunities. Internships are unpaid but school credit is given.
Marketing intern applicants should meet the following minimum qualifications:
Is locally based in Los Angeles and has the ability to commute to our HQ in DTLA 2 days a week.
Excellent email etiquette, communication and research skills.
Asks questions and loves to analyze to create better results and discover new tactics.
Passionate about lifestyle trends, design, style, food, art, etc.
Access to a laptop is required.
Possesses a very can-do attitude, is outgoing and very confident.
Experience writing client communications, content for blogs, websites, and social media.
