FAQ: LA SPRING MARKET, May 9 & 10

Applications are available March 3-18, 2026:
Apply for a large booth: 10X10/5X20
Apply for a petite booth: 5X10
Applicants will be charged for the selected booth + application* fee as the last step of applying (please note that if you do not pay, the process isn’t complete and we will not receive the application).
Notifications will be emailed on Friday, March 20:
If accepted into the market, you don’t have to do a thing.
If you are not accepted into the market we will keep you on the waitlist and email if space opens up, but will refund your booth fee immediately (Please note, some banks take up to 7 business days to show the refund.)

Our markets are held in stunning, indoor atmospheres. Over 100 years old, the Cooper Design Space penthouse features floor to ceiling windows in a historic architectural space.
We provide trade show-quality hard wall booth structures for each exhibitor (seen here, here and in this video)

As always, our Spring Market is held Mother’s Day Weekend, May 9 & 10, 10am-4pm both days
The Penthouse at Cooper Design Space
Our beautiful indoor atmosphere is on the top floor of Cooper Design Space, a historic and culturally significant building in DTLA.
We provide trade show-quality booth walls
There is overhead lighting throughout the space

Stuff happens, we get it — If you must cancel your participation, the deadline for a refund is March 28, 2026.
You must email us with the request on or before March 28.
We will refund your Booth fee, but the $30 Application Fee is non-refundable.
A huge amount of investment and production go into our events that you don’t see — we design/print maps for the shoppers, submit architectural layouts to the Fire Dept for approvals, etc. — if you cancel your participation after March 28 you forfeit your space and booth fee.

Our markets feature small businesses and artisans that are ready to grow and scale to the next level. As a WOC-owned business ourselves, we’re passionate about showcasing diverse, innovative, modern voices that are also driven by creativity and community!
We look at each application, and then your website and social channels to get a fully-developed look at your business. We’re looking for:
High quality and ethically sourced products (if you do not make them yourself)
Consistent, high-quality branding and photography
Innovative, fresh voices
Your story and the history of the business; we want to know who you are and why you do what you do
Items that are priced accordingly (you can sell earrings at $10 or $500, but we must feel that your items are priced accordingly for the materials used, the genre of goods you’re in, etc)
A sense that you’re ready for our market and to take your business to the next level

We are not qualified to offer any business or tax compliance advice, but we encourage you to consult with an accountant or visit www.irs.gov for more details on collecting sales tax, registering your business, etc.
Requirements change from city-to-city, so you should also investigate Los Angeles specific permit, license and sales tax requirements in relation to selling at events.
If you are a food Seller, you may be required to get additional permitting.
