We take the feedback we receive from our vendors and shoppers very seriously and because of that we are making some changes for the upcoming Spring Market!

This year we are greatly reducing the amount of table spots available to make room for cool interactive areas and to continue with our new more open floor plan. What does this mean for vendors? Your chances of being accepted will increase by applying for a booth spot. Now that tables are limited we are reserving those spaces for vendors with small goods that are not able to fill a 10x10 space.

More details can be found in the application  and in our vendor FAQ so please read it very carefully when selecting your space .  

Keep in mind these important dates when applying: 

  • Event Dates: Sat & Sun, May 13th and 14th
  • Application & Checks Postmarked by deadline: March 14th at midnight 
  • Notification of Acceptance: March 17th  
  • Unique University: Thursday April 6th 
  • Vendor Load-in: Friday May 12th

The Unique HQ

First thing we think we should get out of the way, the office never looks this clean. Never. Thanks to Jenn Pablo's skills here are some beautiful shots of the Unique LA HQ. The office is open concept in a 100-year-old building in downtown LA and we've tried to surround ourselves with lots of inspiration, art and color... White desk and chest of drawers by West Elm, wood print above desk by LA artist Andre Mirzaian, sofa by Article, rugs vintage or from Rugs USA, the large white meeting table was custom-made for us, and a lot of it is from Sonja hunting for treasure at flea markets. Enjoy!

We are beyond thrilled for The First Unique LA Fall Market! Mark your calendars for September 10th and 11th at DTLA’s California Market Center. We have a great curated selection of over 125 vendors lined up alongside DIY watercolor projects, Oh Snap Studio photo booth portraits, a cozy lounge area to kick back and a play area for the kids. Additionally, we have snacks to munch on and complimentary drinks from Honest Tea & GT’s Kombucha.

Summer is here and we are ready! Make the most of the next few months by checking out suggestions from The Unique Team!

Go Forth! Visit 3 places you've never been before. Maybe you plan a road-trip to a city or town (Sonja is planning to plot-out a day of antique shopping in nearby small towns, and also plan to go to an area she's never been to in Mexico.). Perhaps you visit a local museum or restaurant that you've never been to. Wherever you go, adventure and new experiences await!

Dance Your Ass Off! Join the Unique team along with our friends at Cocktail Academy & Smilebooth SATURDAYS ALL SUMMER at EL CHAVO DJs will be playing all the Hip Hop, Soul and Top 40 Pop Jams from 10pm-2am

Give Back! I know, I know, summer is for relaxing not volunteering. Wrong! It's the perfect time to dedicate some of your time and expertise to others. Whether you commit a full day to volunteer at a local charity or start volunteering regularly, there are organizations in every city and town that could use your help. 

Get Outside! Take advantage of warm weather and longer nights by taking your usual activities outside. Picnic in the park, attend outdoor movie screenings or concerts and head to the beach to watch the sunset.

Eat Up! Summer is for bbq’s, picnics and farmer’s markets. Take advantage of the seasonal offerings and eat corn off the cob, slice up some watermelon or pineapple and make freshly squeezed lemonade.

Take a Dip! Just because you might not live near the beach doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be able to cool off. Investigate hotels in your area with amazing pools and dive in.  

#Staycation! Traveling to a tropical destination isn't your only vacation option. This summer, plan a “staycation” and relax unwind within your neighborhood or just within your own four walls.

Get the Popcorn Ready! Summer is a time for Hollywood blockbuster hits and the perfect time to cool off inside a dark air conditioned movie theater. (Bonus if you can find a drive-in!)
